Offset surface

The OffsetSrf command with Solid=Yes lets you give thickness to an open surface. Instead of just duplicating the surface at a distance, Rhino builds a second surface and connects the edges, forming a closed solid object. This is particularly useful for creating architectural panels, molded parts, or structural skins.
